UTS Education

House System

An active House system is the lifeblood of UTS spirit. It provides a framework for intramural, athletic and literary competitions. Each student is assigned to a House for a wide range of activities - from food drives to spelling bees, to sports, to lip-sync contests, to cross-country races.

Founded in 1957, the House system fosters individual growth and creates student relationships across all grades. Points are awarded for participation in all facets of school life.

Each House elects a Prefect, Deputy Prefect and Literary and Athletic Reps.
